The
Titans will face a 3-4 defense for the first time all season when they battle the New York
Jets on Sunday. The
Titans must win the battle at the line of scrimmage and slow the
Jets linebackers who are sure to try and pressure
Kerry Collins. No team has been able to find much success rushing Collins, who has been sacked only five times this year. However, the
Jets come into the game with 34 sacks this season, including seven from defensive end
Shaun Ellis.
Defensively, the Titans want to pressure Brett Favre and hope to make him put the ball up for grabs. Despite the gaudy receiving numbers of Jerricho Cotchery and Laveranues Coles, the Titans will take their chances with a secondary that already has 15 interceptions this year.
